The Wind Has Changed

"Did America shift under my feet, or did it stand still while I stomped along my road toward whatever I'm chasing, following a column of smoke through my own Exodus?"

Someday...

... I have this dream in which I am a foxy art historian who acquired a beautiful accent while working on her PhD in the United Kingdom. In this dream I am embracing my independent-woman-pants (which look like absolutely anything Prof. Fassl would wear, tho my signature piece shall be the black button down shirt instead of the white) living in a beautiful house outside of a beautiful city on the ocean with a beautiful bernese mountain dog. Who's name is either Gatsby or Bailey. (Hm, maybe I should just get two!)

I keep telling my dad I want a bernese mountain puppy to help jump start this dream. However, when I mentioned how pricey these pups were he felt more inclined to want to get me either these or these. The first of which are just simply amazing and the second of which would help me channel Prof. Fassl's fabulous style. I do not hold my breath, however, I'm a big fan of hoping for the unlikely and believing beyond reason. :)

Sometimes my brother makes lobsters out of the challah bread. This lobster was delicious.

...I don't have much to say about this one (as usual). But... I thought that there were some interesting shapes and textures in it. Yup.

Are You Out There?

Can you here this?
Jimmy Olson, Johnny Memphis...
I was out here listening all the time.
And though the static walls surround me
You were out there and you found me,
I was out here listening all the time...
